With a hot and humid weather, I had no option but to search for a place full of greenery. During my online search, Google suggested me a nearby place called Santichaiprakan Park, which is close to Khao San road.
The park impressed me after an overview and I decided to visit the place.
I approached a tul tuk guy and paid him 40 bhat.
Located on Phra Athit road, Santichaiprakan Park is full of greenery, though not big in terms of area.
One can fully explore the park in just 20 minutes.
The park, situated in the eastern part of Chao Phraya River, offers some scintillating views of the sunset.
And near the vicinity of the park one can find beautiful Phra Sumen Fort, which was constructed during the end of the 18th century to protect the city from foreign invasions.
While returning from this place I stumbled upon a cute coffee shop and had some nice warm coffee.

I had no idea Bangkok had places with lots of greenery – always imagined it as a huge megalopolis! I’ve only been to Phuket so far – beautiful pictures!

If you stay in the old Bangkok area(close to the Chao Phraya River) you will find a lot of greenery and spacious environment. I feel people should find a place here to stay that way you are not missing any site seeing places here.
