Beauty Of Sokolniki Park

Moscow is home to some magnificent parks and Sokolniki is one of them. Situated in the Sokolinki District of Moscow, the park comes alive with numerous fast food stalls and playgrounds for kids. I was lucky to discover the park as it is just next to Holiday Inn Sokolinki – where I stayed for three days.

I spotted many kids playing and skating, with most of them being closely watched by their mothers. 🙂 I was there for at least two hours, seeing people talking, taking a walk, drinking, some even dancing and making love. I was surprised to see some mothers with their toddlers in the park, while it was snowing. It could be too cold for them or may be not – after all they are Russians. You can also spot many beautiful birds and squirrels in the park.

Believe me, it is an unmissable attraction of Moscow !!!!

Romanian Visa For Indian Travelers

white-construction-paper-texture

I can guide you on how to get a Romanian visa here.

Well, it is not easy for Indian tourists to get a Romanian visa notwithstanding the fact that the country is not yet part of the Schengen zone.

If you have an US/UK/Schengen visa, it might help you to get a tourist visa. If not, then expect the worst. If you are an individual and heading to Romania, then it is best to consult a travel agency. I will recommend Udaan India.

The information you get on the Romanian Embassy site is not sufficient.

I approached them with all valid documents, but they refused to accept it, saying I need a sticker on my visa application, which has to be generated electronically – a process only travel agents know. Besides, an invitation from your friend/family members is a must. Finally, I approached an agent and got my visa approved in 7 days.

So I would say it is better to approach a travel agent rather than depending on embassy officials.
