New ‘Why Not Vietnam? Campaign

A new Vietnamese AD invites tourists back after COVID-19.

Vietnam Tourism

The Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) has partnered with CNN International to launch a new television commercial inviting travelers to consider Vietnam for their first holidays post COVID-19.

The 30-second clip, which features some of Vietnam’s top tourism products and destinations, ends with the sentence, “When you’re ready to travel again, why not Vietnam?” VNAT leaders said the ad aims to remind travellers of Vietnam’s charms and suggest the country as a safe and enticing destination for vacationers in 2021.

You can enjoy the beautiful video here.

The video was created with support from the Vietnam Tourism Advisory Board (TAB), and can be viewed during commercial breaks on CNN Asia for six weeks from October 15, as well as on the national tourism website (www.vietnam.travel) and its social media channels.

Vietnam will soon launch more activities to accompany the ‘Why Not Vietnam?’ video, including giveaways on social media, ad banners, and articles that highlight Vietnam’s capable handling of the coronavirus and its commitment to the safety of its guests and citizens.

Exploring Kanchanaburi’s Spectacular Guan Im Sutham Temple

While exploring Kanchanaburi’s famous death bridge on a hot and humid day, my eyes caught a huge and colorful temple, offering scenic beauty with peace. The Guan Im Sutham Temple, which sits on the banks of the Kwai River, is simply spectacular and breathtaking. When I reached there I noticed that I was the only tourist present in the temple premises.
This Chinese style Buddhist temple, which includes a number of Chinese and Buddhist themes, provides a glimpse of traditional Chinese culture such as the Chinese Zodiac.

The massive compound is replete with animal sculptures, dragons, gold coins and a large Chinese Goddess of Mercy statue. Besides, one can easily notice beautifully decorated pagodas and a gigantic totem pole.
A golden Buddha statue is the main attraction of the temple.
I recommend you to visit this temple along with the historical bridge.
