Heritage in Every Bottle: UN Tourism Conference Uncorks the Cultural Power of Wine Tourism

The 2025 UN Tourism Global Conference on Wine Tourism, held in Plovdiv, Bulgaria on October 6–7 under the theme “The Art of Wine Tourism,” celebrated the deep connection between wine, culture, and innovation.

Set in one of the world’s oldest cities, the event brought together over 300 participants from 27 countries to explore how wine tourism can drive sustainable development, job creation, and cultural preservation. Key highlights included the launch of the first-ever Global Wine Tourism Report, revealing that while global wine consumption is declining, wine tourism continues to thrive through sustainability, storytelling, and digital engagement.

With leaders from Bulgaria, Greece, Montenegro, Türkiye, and UNESCO emphasizing regional cooperation, the conference reinforced that people and education remain at the heart of wine tourism’s future – blending heritage with creativity to shape meaningful travel experiences worldwide.

Unforgettable Berlin Tour: History and Statues

For me, Berlin is an alt city – so much to see, so much to explore. Every statue, every monument is worth discovering, and behind each lies a history that can spark your curiosity. I joined a free Berlin walking tour led by an Austrian expat, and he knew so much about the city and its past that it made the experience truly unforgettable. Hopefully, you will love the following images.
