Sighișoara – Why Are You So Pretty ?

My curiosity and excitement to see Europe was at extreme as it was my first trip to this part of the world.
I stayed in Brasov and paid a short trip to Sighisoara, a medieval town situated on the Tarnava Mare River in Mures County, Romania.

This small historic town, listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, is simply wondrous. One of the highlights of the town is its colorful buildings, surrounded by many cafes.
If you are planning to visit Romania, then your itinerary should include Sighișoara. The top attraction of the city is the Medieval Citadel, which is frequently visited by hundred of visitors everyday. It is a small town which anyone can explore by foot. I did it.
I took a bus from Brasov to Sighișoara and it took approximately two hours to reach there. I did not stay there and explored the town for two hours on foot.

“A piece of art” – my final words about this pretty town.

Why I Love Music Festivals

IMG_20151128_171450

I love music. Well, I think we all do! And I want to attend all music festivals across the world. However, that seems a little difficult:) But I was fortunate to attend Bacardi NH7 weekender recently, where several famous bands and musicians performed. And Yes, it was Spectacular.

Being part of a music festival is a different experience than attending a concert. Several famous and not so famous groups perform in a festival. Colorful stalls, uncles & aunties, little kids, college students and sometimes booze (Yay!) make such festivals memorable, at least for me !!! Here are some snaps which I clicked during the event. 🙂
