Words will not be enough to describe the unparalleled beauty of Bhoga Nandeeshwara Temple situated in Karnataka. Just 60km away from state capital Bengaluru, this temple is a must visit if you have a deep interest in India’s ancient heritage. My passion to explore such places drew me to the temple. Thanks to Google map, me and my friend managed to reach the place within 1 ½ hours from Bengaluru. Between our journey, we also sought help from local people. Though language was a bit of problem, we managed to overcome it. Located in Nandi Hills Area, this temple attracts a large number of devotees everyday.
Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the construction of the temple dates back to the ninth century. Just walk around and admire the beauty of the Dravidian style of architecture.
You can read more about the temple’s history and architecture here.
Next time when you are in Bengaluru, try to explore this majestic temple.

Great find Deepak, I also constantly in search of these kinds of temples wherever I go and for some reason missed my radar. Glad to see a new place and this will be added to my to see list. Looks like this temple has a complete mix of contribution from all possible Indian dynasties. I think its a very rare Rashrakuta time temple in Karnataka area. Thank you for your valuable post.
