Think of water-sports activities! The first place that comes in mind is Rishikesh. Yes this place is famous for offering some of India’s best water-sports activities. But there are other places too in the country that are attracting ardeline junkies with variety of water sports ranging from scuba diving to kayoing.

On my recent trip to Orchha, I went for kayaking in Betwa river, which is surrounded by lush and dense forest. Thanks to a well-trained instructor Mr. Manohar Lal Kewat, I had exhilarating experience that I will cherish forever.

It took approximately 1 hour to complete my three and half kilometer journey, which passed without any single problem.

While kayaking, one can spot a range of wildlife animals such as Nilgai and a lot of birds. One of the best part of kayaking in Betwa river is that it gives you an experience of getting close to nature. And my experience was not an exception to it. I also felt the same. I found nature in its purest and raw form. Serenity completely made me numb.

I had no idea that my kayaking experience will turn out to be such a memorable trip.
During the trip, we also stopped at few places to take some pictures of nature.

Barring from rainy season, you can enjoy kayaking in Betwa river throughout the year. The best time to go for Kayaking is between 8am-10am so that harsh sun does not spoil your mood.

Exhibition Of Japanese Dolls In Delhi

What comes to your mind when you think of Japan ? For me, it is their rich culture and tradition. Thanks to the Japan Foundation, I completely enjoyed their recently concluded exhibition titled “The Doll of Japan” in Delhi.

Hundreds of dolls as well as paintings and ceramics were displayed in the exhibition. Since ancient times, dolls have been a part of everyday life in Japan. The dolls reflect the customs and traditions of Japan and its people.

All the images were taken with a Mi4 mobile phone.
