Few Hours At Amer Fort

A trip to Jaipur is incomplete without a visit to Amer Fort. Situated on a hill, this spectacular fort is known as for its intricate Hindu style design and marvellous architecture. According to historians, Amer Fort, which is also known as Amer Palace, was the residence of the Rajput Maharajas and their families.

Along with Jaigarh Fort, this grand palace is situated above on the Cheel ka Teela (Hill of Eagles) of the same Aravalli range of hills.

Amer Fort and Jaigarh Fort, the two places are considered one complex, as both are linked with a subterranean passage.

I really liked both the places and clicked a lot of images. In 2013, Amer Fort was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Beauty Of Sokolniki Park

Moscow is home to some magnificent parks and Sokolniki is one of them. Situated in the Sokolinki District of Moscow, the park comes alive with numerous fast food stalls and playgrounds for kids. I was lucky to discover the park as it is just next to Holiday Inn Sokolinki – where I stayed for three days.

I spotted many kids playing and skating, with most of them being closely watched by their mothers. 🙂 I was there for at least two hours, seeing people talking, taking a walk, drinking, some even dancing and making love. I was surprised to see some mothers with their toddlers in the park, while it was snowing. It could be too cold for them or may be not – after all they are Russians. You can also spot many beautiful birds and squirrels in the park.

Believe me, it is an unmissable attraction of Moscow !!!!
