While holidaying in Langkawi I was advised to visit Seven Wells Waterfall, one of the most picturesque tourist spots of the island. Known locally as Telaga Tujuh, this magnificent waterfall is named after the seven natural pools.
I booked a taxi from my hostel to reach the waterfall, which is situated in Pantai Kok area. It is also close to the Pantai Kok Beach and Oriental Village. One has to climb 638 steps to reach the place. While climbing the steps, one can enjoy the vast rainforest of Mount Mat Cincang. You are bound to see a large number of flora and fauna. I stayed there around one hour and indulged in swimming. It is recommended to be very careful while swimming. Definitely one of my life’s most memorable experiences, which I will cherish forever.
